Drinkwater’s in Cambridge, MA is one of the top menswear boutiques in the area. Run by Gary Drinkwater, the store is in its fifth year and has recently debuted an in-house line of shirts. Says Gary about the Henderson shirt, “the space that our store is located is the Henderson Carriage Building, where carriages, sleighs and barges were once built. I thought it only fitting to celebrate the craft and the work wear aesthetic for this product launch.”

The shirt comes in three color ways, brick red, sea blue and pearl gray, and are made from Japanese chambray.  Each shirt is a trim fit with a shorter tail length making it appropriate to be either tucked in or left out. The collection is finely detailed with light brown horn buttons and matching contrast stitching. Additionally, the light blue fabric running up the inside of each sleeve is a great touch. Made exclusively in Fall River, MA this shirt celebrates east coast work wear perfectly.

Drinkwater’s is already planning the release of more pieces for the Fall 2010 season, including a heavy Oxford cloth button-down. All three color ways of the Henderson are available now for $125 at Drinkwater’s, located at 2067 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge. The store carries other fine brands such as Engineered Garments, Agave, and more.
